As the terms and conditions of each tour operator may vary, please read the terms and conditions of each operator by checking the voucher you receive on your email for details.
Prices are per person, based on the local tariff at the time of quoting, converted at the prevailing foreign-exchange rate as determined by Hello Iceland, unless otherwise specified. Price quotations are subject to change without notice, until a booking has been confirmed.
Cancellations are advertised on our website for each trip and may vary from operator to operator. Cancellation must be done through the electronic voucher that you receive on your email after booking. It will have an edit booking button that allows you to modify and cancel your bookings as long as the time o do so has not expired.
Please note that if the change incurs additional cost, an online invoice will be issued to you. The change requested will not take effect until the invoice has been paid.
Requests for refunds of past services need to be submitted within 15 days after the completion of the tour to email@example.com. with the email subject as: Requests for refunds and specifying reference number of the order.
When you book your trip you will be able to choose a pickup location and starting time. Please respect this at all times as if you don’t show up for the scheduled pickup time and location stated on your booking, your reservation is non-refundable.
Pickup location can be update after booking, no later than 24 hours before departure, by clicking on the ‘Click here to edit booking’ in your email voucher. In case you don’t get confirmation for the updated location please call the number listed on your voucher.
Any change you want regarding your trips please use the ‘Edit Booking’ option in your electronic voucher email. If you are unable to utilize that function, please call us or send us an email so we can do our very best to assist.
In case your tour is cancelled by the operator you will always receive a full refund unless you accept to go for a rescheduled trip instead of the cancelled one.
Full payment is charged to your credit card when you reserve online. All charges on our webpage are made in Icelandic krona, though you can view an estimate of prices in a number of currencies. This is only a service for you to help you understand the approximate price in your local currency. All refunds are processed in ISK. As Hello Iceland does not charge any booking or transaction fees we cannot be held liable to any loss in currency exchange, booking or transaction fees during transactions.
Part of Iceland appeal is its ever-changing weather condition, therefore our tour operators reserve the right to change routes, schedules and itineraries if needed because of weather, road conditions or any other unforeseen reasons. We recommend all travellers to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance to minimize possible losses due to unforeseeable situations during their travel.
Under no circumstances will Hello Iceland or its agents, affiliates, service providers, suppliers, and/or distributors be liable for any losses or damage arising from the use of helloiceland.is regardless of the form of action.
Hello Iceland does not operate any tours but directs you to tours operated by operators and service providers in Iceland. Neither does Hello Iceland charge users any fees, and as such, cannot be liable for any accidents, losses, injuries, sickness, death, damages, delays, expenses due to any action or inaction on the part of the operator, guide or his/her services. The same applies for any changes in tour schedule due to weather, strikes pilferage, labour disputes, machinery breakdown, government restrains, acts of war and/or terrorism, weather conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control, or any other force majeure.
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. For efficient communication we need correct email address and phone number and cannot be held accountable for any problems arising due to lack of communication.
We will never store or have the ability to view any credit card numbers, expiry dates, full name of card owner registered or CVC numbers.
For any disputes arising from these General Business Conditions. The General Business Conditions are governed by Icelandic law and its jurisdiction is strictly by the district court of Reykjavík.
